2004 F250 brake light problems.

The flashers and blinkers work, the taillights, brake lights and back up lamps do not.

The truck is a 2004 F250 4x4... Checked all fuses. What am I missing?

All bulbs are new, the blinkers and flashers work (same bulb and socket as the brake and tail lamps). I might also add that when hooked to the trailer, the brake and tail lights do not work on th e trailer either. So the truck is clearly not sending the signal.

Did you check fuses

Otherwise
Brake switch
Reverse switch
Headlight switch

Brake and reverse switches could simply need to be realigned/repositioned. Some have a rubber snubber which falls off or gets squashed

I will have to check that out. Seems like regardless, the tail lights would illuminate when the headlight switch it turned on.

Yeah but if your headlight switch is burned out there won't be power going to the lights

It's possible. Your headlights and parking lights run on a different circuit. Are your interior lights working? Could be a lot of things from a fusible link to a bad ground to a bad multi switch,

I don't have a manual but looking at various schematics looks like parking lights may be on a fusible link and headlights on a fuse

That's a possibility. Will have to check that out. The parking lights are not working either. As for the interior lights, not sure. It's a company truck, I do not drive it regularly.
