Door locks

2006 F-350 diesel 4x4
Is there someway to disable the automatic door locks?

Truck is used on a construction site and every time someone moves it and then I need something out of it doors are locked.
I hate having to try 3 doors every time until I remember to go to drivers door.

If your truck model and trim has a information center, it should have had a menu item in the information center. If your truck doesn't have a display center by the speedometer with the option for autolocks on or off, you can try this:

Deactivating/activating the autolock feature
Before following the procedure, make sure that the ignition is OFF and
all vehicle doors are closed.
You must complete steps 1-7 within 30 seconds or the procedure will
have to be repeated. If the procedure needs to be repeated, you must
wait 30 seconds.
1. Turn the ignition key to ON.
2. Press the power door unlock control three times.
3. Turn the ignition key from ON to OFF.
4. Press the power door unlock control three times.
5. Turn the ignition back to ON. The horn will chirp.
6. Press the unlock control, then press the lock control. The horn will
chirp once if autolock was deactivated or twice (one short and one long
chirp) if autolock was activated.
7. Turn the ignition to OFF. The horn will chirp once to confirm the
procedure is complete.

This works on older truck, not sure about yours.

Do you have the owners manual? I believe the procedure is listed in there.

To deactivate/reactivate the autolock feature using the keypad
Your vehicle comes with the autolock feature activated. To
deactivate/reactivate this feature:
1. Ensure that the anti-theft system is not armed.
2. Turn the ignition to the 3 (OFF) position.
3. Close all the doors, liftgate and cargo doors.
4. Enter the 5-digit entry code.
5. Press and hold the 7 • 8. While holding the 7 • 8, press and release
the 3 • 4.
6. Release the 7 • 8.
The horn will chirp once when the system has been successfully
deactivated.
The horn will chirp twice (one short and one long chirp) when the
system has been successfully reactivated.

To deactivate/reactivate the autolock feature using the power door
unlock control:

You must complete Steps 1-7 within 30 seconds or the procedure will
have to be repeated. If the procedure needs to be repeated, you must
wait 30 seconds.
1. Insert the key and turn the ignition to the 4 (ON) position.
2. Press the power door unlock control three times.
3. Turn the ignition from the 4 (ON) position to the 3 (OFF) position.
4. Press the power door unlock control three times.
5. Turn the ignition back to the 4 (ON) position. The horn will chirp.
6. Press the unlock control, then press the lock control. The horn will
chirp once if autolock was deactivated or twice (one short and one long
chirp) if autolock was activated. Note: Pressing the power door
UNLOCK/LOCK button again will toggle between activating and
deactivating the autolock feature.
7. Turn the ignition to the 3 (OFF) position. The horn will chirp once to
confirm the procedure is complete.

This worked great, thanks! After reading this I remember my 2014 had this procedure in the manual. My 2016 does not, nor can I do it through my info center (XL truck). Thanks again.
