Automatic Door Lock !!!
OK guys... This has been bugging me forever.... How the hell do I get my door locks to stop locking automatically when I start to move ahead ??? I have no book on my truck to tell me how this is done..... ??

But in the mean time, here's the procedure:
Deactivating/activating the autolock feature
Before following the procedure, make sure that the ignition is OFF and all vehicle doors are closed.
You must complete steps 1-7 within 30 seconds or the procedure will have to be repeated. If the procedure needs to be repeated, you must wait 30 seconds.
1. Turn the ignition key to ON.
2. Press the power door unlock control three times.
3. Turn the ignition key from ON to OFF.
4. Press the power door unlock control three times.
5. Turn the ignition back to ON. The horn will chirp.
6. Press the unlock control, then press the lock control. The horn will chirp once if autolock was deactivated or twice (one short and one long chirp) if autolock was activated.
7. Turn the ignition to OFF. The horn will chirp once to confirm the procedure is complete.

Thanks Joe.... I'm going to print that and go give it a try... I've only had the truck 4 yrs now and its been driving me crazy since day one,.... a guy can't rush into these things ya know !!!! LOL

Can't seem to get it to work ???? I've tried about 5 times... It won't make the horn chirp at all ?? Could the procedure be different for the different years of trucks ??? I notice you have an 02 Joe ! Mine's an 03 but.... i think it was built in 02 ??
Anyways.. I'll try it some more... If anyone can chime in with their thoughts.. it would be much appreciated !!

Downloaded manual and its says the exact same thing ! I tried it a couple more time and got it to chirp the horn once.... but can't get it to disable the auto lock feature. I must be a retard or something.. I can't get it.. It doesn't seem to be that difficult of a task... its just not working !!!!
