Hey all;
I have another post open about my DSII conversion, I figured I'd make a new post addressing this question directly.
I bought a used Motorcraft 2100/2150 carb (not sure exact as tag is missing), rebuilt it and now stuck as the linkage is different for the Transmission kick down/valve rod on the carb.
Here are some photos. This sucks.
Any suggestions?
From what I can see of the pics, they are both 2150's
I think you are going to have to swap the throttle rod.. be very careful with the little screws holding the plates on.. They can break easy..
Loks like you already have the feedback carb out If it wasn't so cold where you are at and you had the time,, you could always run the engine with the one you rebuilt just to check things out but you wouldn't be able to drive it..
There is a TV cable kit out there you might be able to use but i think you would be much better with changing the throttle rod if it fits...
