Seat base bolts

Seat base bolts

Can anyone confirm that the two torx bolts for the seat base are what's known as TP55 Torx Plus before I buy it? I did some searching around and that's what I came up with.

That's the exact tool necessary for the job Jim--the PLUS designation having a very different profile than standard Torx bits. I bought an SK Tools version, only available in 3/8" drive, less than $20, don't really remember how much it was.

I tried a T55 bit on seat belt bolts. It looks like a stub of Red Vine now :/

I've taken torx bolts out with Allen wrenches in the past, but I didn't want to chance it with these because if they get wiped out there's not enough material to grab with vice grips because the heads are truncated, and dome shaped. And seatbelt bolts are usually pretty snug.
