93 E150 rear heater core replacement write up?

I couldn't find in the archives a write up on replacing the rear heater core in a '93 E150 passenger van. Does anyone have a link or better keywords? We're planning on going to where it gets far colder than San Jose.

Thanks,
Sixto

I don't recall anyone yet posting anything about replacing that core. I do know in most cases the biggest challenge will be removing the interior panels to access the evaporator/heater core case.

I believe I have an exploded drawing of that case if it would be helpful.

That would be helpful JWA as I know that I will be replacing mine when funds allow. Granted there will be differences between the 93 and the 86, but they hopefully will be negligible.

Well they're not the same so instead of clogging this thread with info not yet needed we'll wait instead for the time it is.

The 86 and 93 versions would be different so accessing a parts explosion from that year would be the ticket. Mine are from a Mitchell's Collision Estimating guide covering only 2000>2010.
