I used to like moog until I started seeing "made in china" on the box. I bought ball joints from napa that I used on my last truck. They seemed decent and they were greaseable probably made in china like everything else.
All "Moog" ball joints are made in china now. They are actually the exact same manufacturer and product used in the "OE" brand discount ball joints, otherwise known as garbage.
Get yourself a set of Raybestos ball joints. They are high quality, zinc plated and carry a great warranty.
I buy ball joints and pretty much everything from Rock Auto. Search for a discount code to get 5% off. I have greaseable Raybestos Pros for lowers and greaseable Motorcraft uppers. Been on for over 3 years now. No memory steer or other issues with them.
Spicer says their non-greasable U-joints last longer.
Bigger trunnions and more grease in them.
Local driveline shop explained to me that the greasable joints will last just as long but need to be greased constantly, the non greasable should last the equal 80k miles with out maintenance.
