Poor acceleration when engine is at operating temp!
Hello everyone I am new to this forum. I have a 04 f350 6.0 with about 195xxx miles on it. The other day my truck started acting up. It starts and idles without a problem and drives fine till the engine gets to operating temp once there I cannot accelerate quickly like getting onto the highway to get up to speed it just the motor just goes quiet and won't accelerate. It usually does this a little after 2000 rpm. I can let off the throttle and slowly get to speed as long as I don't go past 2000 rpm. No check engine light was not on scanned it and got p0611 for the ficm. I tested the ficm and it read 48v with key on. While truck was running I got 46.xx v then Started to climb to almost 48v. The truck was warm but not at operating temp where the problems starts(didn't have time to let it warm up all the way) could these symptoms be the ficm still? What else should I test?

P0611 is what I call the FICM death code. Be aware that it can fail at any time and leave you stranded. Just because it gives you the correct voltage doesn't mean it hasn't failed on the logic side of the board.
You need to send it to Ed@FICMrepair.com and let him upgrade it for you.

What Tim said, and I will also add you might not know if one of the four circuits has failed, or is about to, by getting a good reading.
I had this very thing on my FICM. Sent it in for a PM and tune, turned out one of the circuits was ringing the death bell. My performance had started to suffer more gradually but I never had a reading below 47, and that was rare.
Turns out the goofball who I bought the truck from had replaced a weak alternator AFTER sticking a used FICM in, along with one injector.
After I got the FICM back a few weeks ago I didn't recognize the truck. The teenager side of me(and the tennager son) is having a hard time not romping the throttle now.
