I wish I knew the exact specifications on the build. I just got the basic undescript parts list. But 4300$ for an engine sounds like alot to me.

500 HP would set you back in the seat regardless of tires or gears. Maybe "500" Ft. Lbs of torque. Nobody makes 500 HP on stock heads, manifolds, etc

They guy selling the truck had the dyno sheet but forgot to give it to me. I did see something that was 500. guess I will never truly know the whole story?

Not if you don't get to it because the power is made at a higher engine speed than the tires and gears will let you get to. That's what PlumCrazy7 was saying when he thought it might have a bad cam choice for a truck engine.
