Head gaskets again!

Did head gaskets and studs in feb. of 2013. Used ford gaskets and ford reman heads.
Took trip to w. virgina in april of 2015 towing four atv's and had minor puking on some of the hills.

Now it is puking with out towing.
Hooked up pressure gauge yesterday and the needle would rise to 18 lb. with every wot run.

Egr cooler is welded closed on all ends, and no signs of smoke from tailpipe.

All temp. deltas are well with in spec.
I run a 40 hp. tow tune.

Can any one point me to the TSB's for checking the heads and what can be done to them and what shouldn't be done to them.
Or a machine shop in NH to take them to.
Last machine shop, once you mention 6.0 said to get new heads.

Thanks for all the help on this site.

Not a big fan of welding the egr cooler, depending on how it was done it could have ruptured causing your problems.

Sorry, can't help you with people in NH. But I have seen a lot of good posts about this place if you can't find anyone to rebuild/ check you current heads.

Just how was it welded closed? If caps were used and one eroded…
Also deck and head prep can be an issue.

Just because they were ford heads,,, might be the issue.

If the factory mill marks are still present on heads,, we check the surface by cutting them. I've never seen a head with factory marks flat. Btw,, I don't care about the tolerances,,, I want them at ZERO!!!!

I made 1/4" S.S. caps and mig welded them with S.S.Wire.
It was plugged about 2 years before I did the first gaskets, so when I had it a part the first time I inspected and tested the cooler while I had it out and every thing was fine.

Anthony thank you for the video. I wish I had checked the new heads for sure.

I'll post an update when I get it taken apart, could be a month before I get to it. Hopefully it doesn't hydro lock.

Thank you to every one for the replys.
