Since I'm still in the process of doing my initial setup of my new truck I would like to add a leveling kit. My goals are to run a 35x12.5x20 on the factory wheels for now. I have seen a lot of different styles of leveling kits on the market for these new trucks, but I'm not sure which ones are bad, good or overkill. I've heard a lot of good reviews on the Ready-lift kits as well as the Carli kits. However, I've seen kits with spacers from $69 and kits with new replacement coils upward of $1000. I've also seen kits from 1" to 3.5" front leveling. So which kit would make the ride comfortable and not break the bank? My truck is a 2016 F-350 Platinum that DOES NOT have the camper or snow plow prep package. Thanks for any help.
I have the basic Carli leveling kit. I would say the ride is a little better, but it is hard to tell since I added a camper shell and 37" tall tires not long after.
I have a friend with a 2013 F350 and my truck definitely rides better than his. He is about to get the Carli kit with the Fox shocks. I think that is probably a better way to go.
If you don't like the ride now a cheap spacer kit will do nothing for you. To make the ride nice you will have to spend some money. I am happy with what I have...at least until I can see how the Fox shocks and Carli rear leafs feel on my buddies truck. After that all bets are off.
FWIW you can run 35's on the truck at stock height. I put 35's on my leveled truck and they just seemed to look small on this truck. Not sure why. I sold the 35's and went to 37's and couldn't be happier.
