Help please, need advice
2004 F250 6.0
My mechanic has advised me that i am in the beginning stages of what could ultimately lead to a "runaway"
there is apparently oil leaking out of the turbo and into the intake(s).
i still need to go and look at this so he can show me in detail what he is describing. he called to have me look into "bulletproofing" which has me in a bit of a panic.
the problem was discovered while having a fuel leak looked into, which may mean replacing the upper filter housing.
He said that bulletproofing would be better than piecemeal fixing leaks that will eventually just lead back to more leaks, etc.
any advice will be greatly appreciated. this forum has saved me a lot of headaches and cash over the years, so i hope somebody has seen this type of thing and can set me down the right path.
