Generally, what you'd want is a "kit" of fuses containing one or two each of the most common sizes of replacement fuses. Bring the bad one with you to be sure.
But let's back up a second. Were you working on something under the dash while it was powered up and shorted something to ground?
Otherwise you should be prepared to ponder for a minute just why the fuse went - normally that doesn't happen. It could be the wiper motor is on its last legs for example, or connections and grounds are loose/corroded.

Replacing isnt the same as testing. Sounds like you need to invest in a multimeter and-or a 12v test light. Either one will pay for itself on the very first use.
