1970 Ford F-100 to F-350 Wiring Chart

I use the wiring diagram at Fordification quite frequently, I wish it included wire colors, so I made a spread sheet to go with it. This information is most likely already available, but I couldn't find it. There is a wire chart at Fordification but it's incomplete. Please let me know if I need to make any corrections to this list.

I'm going to add a list that is sorted by wire color and I might add another column for circuit function.

Good job hawk. I think this should almost be added to HIO's tech sticky.

I have the builder's book for the 1970 trucks. It has all the wiring diagrams in it. I believe the books are posted on fordification.com. It just takes a little digging to find what you need.

Try rubbing alcohol and a clean rag.

I don't have a good resource for the gauge of all the wires, but I could measure the wire diameters and estimate the size.

I just went to the Faxon web site and it looks like they have '67-'72 manuals.

I would really like to borrow a copy of the master wiring diagrams so I could make hi-res scans and post them here.

I was considering wiring up my flasher to the column one instead of using the one in the glove box. The switch had come apart but I was doing some cleaning and found the little spring. Glued it back together and it is actually working again. However, only have two wires left over from the '79 column and supposed to be four on the flasher......

I would have already done that if they would fit in a regular scanner.
Plus it is here 1970 Body Builder's Layout Book - FORDification.com

I would like to scan it at a higher resolution and maybe add the wire color abbreviations to it.

Hi Greg,
I've got a link to that page in my first post. It's not a complete list. I don't know why they didn't include all of the circuits.
