Power window trouble

My power window on the driver side works. But tops at 3/4 way down. Ivan repulse the button several times to get it all the way down and occasionally it will work on the auto down. But rarely.
Any idea what's wrong. Probably switch. .. Thanks for the help

It stops 3/4 way down. I can repeat pushing the button many times and it will go all the way down. Is it the switch. Thx dan

dry tracks... dry bushings..... something bent/loose.
weak motor,

it would also be NICE.. if you would state what YEAR/MODEL/number of doors...

I guess its a Ford Truck????? but I can NOT see it..

Power windows

Sorry but it's 2000 f250 super duty 40,000 miles. Extended cab 4 door 2 front doors have power windows 2 back doors just have the wing windows

Because they are often exposed to rain, the switches in the door have a tendancy to corrode and stop working correctly. I would pull the panel and check the insides of the offending switch, as well as it's connector. A shot of deoxit may be all it takes to return your switch to full service.

I'm having the same issue on a 2011 F-250. Worse when cold. I can help it by pushing on it. When it's warm or hot out, it works fine.

It doesn't take a lot of pressure to stop one of these auto windows in their tracks. I'd remove the door panel and clean and lube the guides and pivot points.

Mileage is 107k. Dealer won't "do" anything. I can put it in there, and let their "mechanics" work on it. They totally suck. I don't trust them at all.
