I got mine for $54 at Checker, its awesome. It goes up to 8000. I saw some cheaper priced ones but they went up to 10,000 and I didn't want to be like a Honda Civic.
Oh yeah, it's an autometer. Here's a link to it:

Comes, chrome or black for same price. I drilled a hole in mounting bracket right under the tach and ran the wires through it so you can't even see the wires.
