Dana 60 diff oil amount needed

Hey, can anyone look in the their shop manual and tell me how much fluid a 1967 Dana 60 Limited Slip axle holds? Thanks!

just put it in untill it starts pooring out..........then put the bolt in...thats how the pros' do it......

Ok, sounds good to me MudinMan. I should have just asked my pops this question first off. 80-90w limited slip gear oil should be fine right?

did you put the lube for LS in there? and yea that sounds fine......the more fluid the better means, better lubed and cooler the parts are.....just go till it poor (messy) and you should be fine......

MudinMan, yeah the lube I have is LS. My dad said to jack up the rear end really high, so no more oil will leak out so when I put gasket material on it its perfectly clean so it doesn't leak.
