Where do these clips go?

Replacing front brakes today and these came in the kit. There were 2 for each side. Do they go on the inner or outer pad? Upper or lower locations? Can I just leave them off? Thanks!

They look like anti-rattle clips that would go between the pad and the outside of a floating caliper. I can't tell you for sure how they are installed on your truck however..

--edit-- they are generally installed one to each pad at the rear of the pad in rotation..

I wish I had a pic. They go on the caliper where the grooves on the pad base slide against the bracket that holds the pads in place. Helps the caliper move in and out while keeping the pad stationary with consistent contact against the rotor. They do snap in place as if they were designed when you get it right. Helps to fight squeaking and keeps the pad "at the ready" when needed.

I have them on both sides of each pad (4 per corner)

Awesome Darren. That's it, the silver color is the fixed bracket that holds the pads and the clips. The black colored caliper is the moving part. The clips keep contact between the pads and the rotor in the event the caliper Pistons retract somehow.
