2013 Headlight issue

2013, F350, 6.7 diesel. Passenger side low and high beam lights won't come on...... driver side works fine. If I open, then slam the hood closed......the headlight will come on. Bulb has already been replaced....didn't fix the issue, and fuse is good. My thought is it's a bad ground, or bad socket. Can the actual headlight switch in the cab be bad if the drivers side works????

If slamming the hood can make a difference, I would start with looking around the headlight for a ground problem, or a problem with the socket, or a wiring issue in the area.

I had to replace the right HL socket on mine to fix a 'blinking' problem. Not exactly an inexpensive part for what it does, but ...............
