1959 Cab removal
1959 Cab removal
Need suggestions on how to lift off the cab.
Should I raise the cab from under neath and lift from the bottom with straps? I'm thinking to get it into the air, roll the frame out, then lower it onto a trailer.
I don't want to distort anything by lifting from the top.

you shouldn't distort anything by lifting from top.
just use wide straps thru door, w/s and back glass openings.
heck, i did this with my panel body & it's a heckuvalot heavier and more awkward than a p/u cab. whenever i changed over form p/u to panel body.
we then used a tractor bucket to lift with.
i have pics if ya wanna see em email me economan(at)hotmail.com to much a hassle to post on here.
