6 position chip reviews

I've had some customer inquiries lately for some 7.3L performance. I don't own one personally just work on them. I'd like to get some feed back on the different custom chips and the tunes accompanying them. Most of the customers I'm dealing with are looking for performance and econo tunes along with a high idle. Tune, intake, and exhaust kind of thing. Also What kind of digital monitors pair nicely with them? Just looking for some honest feedback on products you've used good or bad. I'm just trying to sell the customer the products they'll be the most satisfied with.
Thanks

I have a TS 6 position chip that has been reprogrammed for my bigger injectors and exhaust, intake, etc. Before I had all of that on there I noticed it woke the truck up a good bit but even if the box says "140hp" it will not give you that much. I think 80 over is the max with stock parts. That being said, if you are cranking up the chip with stock parks (exhaust specifically) you will overheat parts quickly. I would recommend at least a pyro gauge with the chip. But as for power gains, it livens the truck up a ton. Turbo spool is faster, it can tow a lot more, and it can beat a lot more ricers in a race. Also the high idle is a wonderful thing in colder climates. Even here in MD it helps on sub 40* days. I have no experience with Edge or Hydra programmers so hopefully someone else will chime in.

I have a TS 6 pos chip burned by TS as follows;

1. STOCK
2. HIGH IDLE
3. +50HP
4. +75HP
5. +100HP
6. +140HP

I'm happy with it for now, my favorite setting is the +50HP which really woke my rig up. I may get it reburned when I get my John Woods transmission.

As far as digital monitors, i'm not a fan. I have ISSPRO analog gauges which IMHO belong in the OBS trucks not digital.

I'm good on the intake and exhaust options and have several options for each customers needs. I like gauges just fine and have them in my own pickup, but the digital monitors are so nice today and do so many things. Also I have to factor that I cannot sell gauges installed for the price I can a digital monitor like an edge insight due to the labor involved.
