head gasket replacement?
I've recently purchased 2000 seaview rv with a Ford V10 motor that has been sitting since 2009 and has 54000 miles. After cleaning fuel components I got it running only to discover oil in the radiator. After replacing the oil cooler, every time I rev the motor, radiator fluid blows out the overflow..... I'm fairly confident I have a blown head gasket (although no coolant in the oil). My question is, do I just replace the head gaskets and put it back together, or is their a list of things I should go ahead and do(preventative maintenance) while I'm in there. I have done a week's worth of researching and haven't really been able to find any good tech articles related to what changing out the heads entails.... Just statements that it's an easy job...... I hope so :-)
