LOL, mine just got grabbed on the way to FL. Those darn NJ fuel stations with the no self service law. The friendly attendant took my card into the booth to swipe it. I noticed that other cards were being swiped in front of their owners at the pump but didn't think much of it. He finished by dumping diesel down the side of my truck because the pump didn't click off while he was in the booth copying my card. Right after I got back from FL lots of guys in Long Island were getting free fill ups. Luckily my travel alert had expired on the card and it got shut down.
I use the Supertech from Wally World. $7.88 for 2.5 gallons. The pumps at the truck stops are a good deal but every one I've tried locks the pump with the nozzle fully inserted and splashes out if I pull the nozzle out far enough to get the pump to work.
There you go! I'm sure it is made by Blue Peak as the nozzle is the same. However, one jug every 4-5000 miles is not going to break anyone's bank.
Yep, EVERY truck stop that I've tried the pump, I've had the exact same experience. Either no pump or it would all splash out and down the side of the truck to the ground. I gave up. If you find said adapter, please post on it...
...I just had the same experience....however I found out that if you lift the handle that it Will pump in OK
I think you posted before reading the rest of the thread. Lifting the pump won't do anything on nozzles with a magnetic release safety.
I stopped at Love's travel stop. When I started to pump the def in it wouldn't go in and went all over the truck.
Then I lifted the pump handle in the back and the DEF went in just fine.
It shut off fine when it was full 👍
So, you went to a station without the safety. They don't exist in other parts of the country.
No...the safety shut the pump off when tank was full.
I push the nozzle in like you're supposed to and tried to pump it in but it kept shutting off. Then I lifted the handle up in back and it pumped in fine👍
I went to where the semis fuel up and they have a DEF pump there👍
You're not reading. There are areas of the country with a magnetic safety on the pump nozzles. Using one of them, lifting the pump will DO NOTHING. My god man, read.

Oh...my phone screwing up where it sent me...you're talking about magnetic card readers but I was sent to DEF forum😁
Wow, you're clueless. If you actually read through your own thread and the info others have posted, you'd realize that in many areas of the country there are two safeties on DEF nozzles. One for overfilling just like a fuel pump. The other is a magnetic release that won't allow the nozzle to pump without the magnetic release being tripped. Therefor you raising the nozzle and having it work on a nozzle without the safety would do absolutely nothing on these type pumps.
Not all truck stops but almost all pickups will have the same problem at certain stops. I'm told it's a rate limiter used because a pickup gas tank can't fill fast enough and will spit it back if the pump volume is set for large rig tanks. Its not allowed to be sold in the open market by federal regulation.
When you put the nozzle in lift the handle in the back and start pumping.that's what I had to do on my 2011 6.7
Dude, you are slow beyond the short bus. THAT WON'T WORK ON ALL PUMPS.
It worked at petro and at Love's where commercial trucks fuel.
And if you notice.. I said after you put the nozzle in lift the back of the handle and it pumps in just fine. Pay attention for god's sake man.

Really, you missed in multiple posts where I said magnetic safety pumps were region specific? Try it on the east coast and let us all know how it worked out for you.

Sorry...my phone internet won't view but only 5 posts ..didn't realize you were talking est coast.
I was in Michigan and Indiana when I did this👍
