5w20 or 0w20?

Anyone use 0w20 in their 6.2?, my wifes 2015 CRV calls for it and my previous Subaru did also. I just bought 2 Purolator Pure one filters and thinking of oils now

I would use what the Ford recommends.. 5w20.. If you were located up in the northern reaches of Alaska, then maybe 0w20... also see:

Ford recommends 5W20 no need to over think it. The only decision might be to go full synthetic.

I just switched over to full synthetic after swearing it off for years because everything I used it in had sprung a leak. It sure makes a difference , truck runs smoother and runs better with less effort. I would hesitate to go as far as more power but it does feel that way.

I just changed the oil for the first time and used 5w-30 Pennzoil Platinum. Which is a full synthetic. I put on a Mobil One extended use filter.

Why did you go with a heavier oil - in a brand new motor, just in time for winter?

5w-30 is the oil my 2016 truck calls for. I was reading the posts before I changed my oil and saw everyone was using 5w-20 and was surprised when I found my onwners manual and the oil fill cap said to use 5w-30. I triple checked. As I found it odd that they changed it. What are the other 2016 owners finding their trucks require?

That is strange.. I looked up your manual thru Fords Website for the 2016 and you are correct. Why did Ford change from 5W20 to 5W30 ?
