heater problem

Truck has 180000 miles on it and I just recently flushed out the coolant....I am having difficulties locating a heater control valve for my 2004 4.6 L f150 heritage model truck. Was this vehicle equipped with one? Where is it at? Can you please send photos of its location? I appreciate any feedback I can get. Thanks-

If you have one, it will be installed on one of the heater coolant lines. Can't recall seeing one on a half-ton, you'll have to look and see if it's present.

Your truck is a 2003 "leftover". Ford switched their factories one at a time over to the 2004 new body style and the second one kept producing the same truck as before which was labeled the "Heritage". When it comes to finding parts, you usually get better results specifying your truck as a 2003 since there aren't two separate versions.
