Electrical problems turn signals/stop lights

Hi! I got huge electrical problems with my project. I got no turn signals and no stop lights and dont know where to start. Do you know of any wiring diagram for turn signals and stop lights for 1977.

Yeah, sure do. Take the time to read through the Tech Info Compilation linked in my signature and go to the electrical section for links to wiring diagrams.

You have a multimeter, right? Clean your grounds, verify 12Vdc at the bulb sockets, and then trace the signal (of lack thereof) upstream of the circuit and back to its source. EZ.

Thanks for a lot of useful information.
I am going to check the turn signal switch next. I think all the wiring needs a lot attention. Where's the stop light switck? Is it the one near the brake pedal or the one on the master cylinder?

The stop light switch is on the r/h side of brake pedal. There is a switch on the brake proportional valve down on the frame, and that is connected to your "brake" warning light on you instrument cluster.

FYI it will NOT illuminate when you set the park brake only if you have a blown brake line and the proportional is working like it should.

You should not have any elec wiring going to the master cylinder or power brake booster.

Thanks a lot for great information!!! It was easy just to follow the description in the " turn and stop lamp diagnosis". Looks like my turn light switch is gone and A LOT of old bad wiring. I am also going to use the description later when installing the new switch.
