A couple of questions, for you:
1) What brand did carpet did you use? That looks to fit very nicely!

2) Did you end up pursuing their insurance on that tailgate damage?

I had a car damaged in shipment before, and the company totally screwed me over. The dented the roof (badly), and would never admit fault. My brother took delivery of the car and never inspected it, though, so it was partially on me for not doing my due diligence as a buyer.

My newest truck (9th gen) is in shipment right now. I have pictures and video documenting every stitch of the truck (the seller was very helpful). If there is any damage I am not going to be happy.

Not to thread jack though; love the color combo, and the condition is impeccable. Enjoy it!

check out LMC carpet.

I would highly recommend them, google them for a discount code too

I didn't do anything about the damage, i put a tailgate cap on that covers it but painted the whole top edge with Hercules bed liner first. You can buy a brand new painted tailgate on ebay for $350 figured if i ever come into some "disposable" money i'd go for one of those but its out of sight so out of mind at the moment.

Good luck on the truck arriving dent free, hope it goes ok.
Thanks!

Did you go with the grey, or medium grey (ultraplush)? My truck is a rubber mat XL, and I want to swap it over to carpet, and would like to match the factory grey.

Good call on sticking with your original tailgate. You definitely do not want an aftermarket gate. They are junk, and will actually bend if you stand on them.
