Are you trying to remove the big hose in the front of the picture? If So there's a tool to remove those clips.
It looks like you're doing a heater core? If so, cut the tubes off the old heat core and pull them through the firewall. One of my hoses was seized on the last heater core I did on one of these trucks. I used some QD-40 and some small screw drivers, after the tool didn't work.
