Heater core hose question

Heater core hose question

Hello, i have a burst heater core hose. One side of the hose is secured by a clamp then the hose that goes into the car is somehow attached and i cant figure out how to remove it....any tips?

Wow, small pictures.

Those look like crimped on hydraulic fittings.

It's some sort of snap to connect fitting. The service manual shows a special tool and has some instructions. I don't know how well this will reproduce here...

Its a snap to cpnnect type fitting, same style GM has used on fuel lines for a hundred years. Push the heater hose in towards the core, and squeeze the plastcic tabs then pull the hose off.
