Gearing is an issue because of the low revving torquey nature of the Six.
Especially because of the 1:1 top gear.
Depending on tires, 2:75 or 3.00 is going to be best if you need to travel any distance at 55 or more mph.

These engines don't like to be wound up.

I third that notion! I have 3.08 and my truck does fine on the highway.

And here I am with 3.50 gears lol. Still does 90 mph though, she's a screamer.
