Ok so looking around whil getting the truck ready for use again i noticed that the underside of the cab is rusted to death. are theere any pannels besides the rocker pannel that i can weld in or do I have to make them my self? or is it new cab time? the middle beyond the support beams arent in to bad of shape some por15 might fix those areas.
Top left the back side of carpet is seen peeking through where the rocker panel meets the underside.
top left to bottom right is from outside of truck to support beam.
support corner front and back are both rusted like this.
middle seam and rocker seam have rusted through and have sections missing.
Hi , I had a '66 el camino that was like the Fred Flintstone car. I bent aluminum sheet metal to shape on the cab floor then riveted it in. Carpet over that.It worked great for many years. just an idea.
