Throttle linkage help '69

My 69 f100 had a 2 barrel Holley carb and I just put a edelbrock manifold and edelbrock 600 cfm 4 barrel carb.I'm having trouble putting on my throttle linkage and I notice that I don't have a Ford kickdown rod and I have been told that it's necessary for an automatic transmission. I know this is little information , I don't much about carburetors. I'll post a picture of what I have already set up.

Iirc, the kickdown linkage is sold separately. Google it?

By far the easiest is to simplify life and install a lokar throttle cable and trans kickdown and ditch the old linkage. The other option is to go to more of a 73-79 style linkage which uses a ball stud on the carburetor end.
