wheel replacement

I've had my 81 f150 4x4 flareside for almost 3 years now, and when I bought the truck it had some older aluminum American Racing wheels on it. I like the look of them but I'm an all original guy, and I was thinking about going back to the factory 8 spoke steelies. But I'm stuck on if I should go with white or black. The truck being an 81 has the solid black grill, and has medium gray poly paint color. I also have black step rails. In my opinion both the white and black wheels look great, and you can find them for about an equal cost. But here's my other question. Does anyone know of a place where I can get tires like the general grabber at2 or the bfg all terrain t/a ko2 for 15 inch rims but don't exceed 265 in height

If you are a all original guy, you will want white spoke rims not black rims, even though solid black rims with black tires seems to be the fad now.

If the "265" is the tire size, that's the width of the tread in mm not the height.

The way you described it with the gray paint and black accents, imo the black wheels would look much better. Atleast what I'm picturing in my head. I just got some new tires (31x10.5 15s) fairly aggressive tread from tireman for $580 installed. Not a bad deal at all. Also came with a 3 year blowout/leak warranty.

Well I've given it thought after I had a flat and put the spare with the original wheel on and the white looks real nice. Now just have to find some and get some firestone tires for Christmas lol
