black wheels on a 93-96 f-150
i've got a '96 f-150 short box 4X4 with 33's. after some engine mods, i plan to paint it maybe a camo green, tint the windows, get some 35s or 38s and i was thinking maybe black rims, has anyone seen anything like this. if so what's your opinion and could you please post some pics.

i've seen one on the streets with black rims sorry no picks....It didn't look good in my opionion it just looked like the rims were dirty..it doesn't look like the import cars with black rims on it...It just looked like 1 big black round tire...I'd stick with chrome if your gonna change'um out....just my opinion

Black rims look good with big tires on lifted 4x4s. You don't really see the rims so it makes the rig look no-nonsense and mean. Plus them black rims at Discount Tire are the cheapest wheels you can buy and are cheap to replace if you damage one. I live in CO and there are a lot of 4x4s that have black rims with black sidewall tires. My buddy had a black Jeep with balck rims and it looked real good. There's a red Jeep in the parking lot here at work with black rims, 35" Mud Terrains and a black soft top. It looks real nice. The best look I've seen yet was a black Suburban with black rims and all the 4x4 accessories (rack on top, winch, bumbers, nerf bars, etc.) It was killer. There's also an army base nearby and the camo painted Hummers have black rims and also look mean. Do it, you'll like it.
