MY Engine Dies After Starting

I have seen this problem a couple of times on this board and have not seen any replies. I have a 2000 Explorer Sport with the 4.0 V6 SHOC. This only happens once in a while. When it is started you have to give it gas to keep it running. Shift into drive while giving brake and gas to keep the engine running. Once it warms up it will idle around 750 fairly smoothly.

Any suggestions?

I have a extended warranty went to the dealer tree time's and still the cant find the problem.

I would start with the IAC valve. Make sure it's clean and functional.

Ok i will do that when it come's back from the dealership it's gone for that same problem this time the came to get it whit the Flatbed because it wouldint start at all.Were is that IAC valve located ?
