Blue light behind cluster

What or where does that blue light go that is behind the gauge cluster near the headlight switch ? on a 1977 f250

It actually plugs into a spot to illuminate the headlight switch.

X2 on yes connected/snaps in place with a metal spring tab to the back side of the bash bezel. Its job is to illuminate the small legend lens behind the headlight and windshield wiper switches. There is a small slip on cover that covers a small bulb.
