A/c pump bypass
Hey guys I was wondering If I could somehow bypass my a/c with a shorter belt or something for the winter or if there is a better way

They have a bypass pulley. You unbolt the a/c compressor and put the bypass in its place

Just taping off the lines will be fine, besides you will want to put a new accumulator dyer in and pull a vacuum if you reinstall a new compressor anyway
