58-60 Frame

Hi all I am in thoughts on this one, maybe some ideas?
I am thinking of getting a second frame to start the mods on while I leave the truck intact and still drivable...we just finished our new house and need to do the hauling stuff...bark, dirt, ect, ect. what I might do is get a 2nd frame to add the clip and 4 link too then add the drive train and such, and then get the cab off and repainted and work it all from there.

anyone with a 57-60 shortbed frame??

any one else have thought on this??

Thanks
Glack

58-60 Frame

Hey this sounds like a good idea to get a second frame. I have a line on another shortbox with a mint body but no drive train for $1000. My current truck is a daily driver and it would be hard to do major mods to it and still get around. Another reason to get this other truck i guess.

I've dreampt about it, but when I wake up and realize I couldn't afford to do it, I go back to sleep.

58-60 Frame

I'm using a 77 E150 Frame shortened to 110 inches. It has all the modern things like PS, PB, discs, IFS. Eastwood epoxy chassis paints are coating the whole thing and while it's just a frame...everything is being replaced, bushings, etc. Check out my gallery for a few pics of the thing in progress. Can't wait to get the 60 Panel body on it.

Hey all, I picked up another 60 but in a shortbed, body was shot but fram and axle are in good shape, I had all the body sheet metal off in a few hours...gotta love the torch and sawzall. all of it went to scap but the rolling frame and a few misc parts.

Its headed to the blaster in a few days (hoping......) and I am trying to start the milling of the 4 link bars. I hope it all comes together soon

Pics in gallery..."junkie"

I have one now...two actually, one long bed(original truck) and the new shortbed (parts truck Junkie) I need to get rid of the Long bed frame now as all the stuff will go to the short box frame. I need to find a shortbed box now
or another donor truck...dont need it today but my eyes are looking, as I have plenty to do for awhile..clean up new frame and do the MII and 4 link, plumb the brake lins and paint and ......Blah Blah Bah...yada yada yada

Glack

Any one looking for a longbed frame???? 57-60
