BTW, dips to 47.5V on FMP are every bit of fine and not indicative of a FICM issue. Everyone online would have you thinking that you need a dead solid 48V when in fact VERY few modules do that.
Thanks! I was hoping that could be eliminated. Im probably going to be sending it to you after I get this issue figured out and head gaskets/studs. Its 10 years old and i think the only time its been touched was by a dealer. I think tha was just a flash though. im just trying to get everything reliable and updated.
Thaks for your help!
I updated the STC about 4-5 years ago when i replaced the HPOP, so im hoping that isnt it. I am the original owner. Ordered it in late 04 from Iraq and had it waiting on me when i got home.
Thanks for the video. Ive watched a lot of his videos and senior amster tech. I guess i missed the ones you sent though.
Thanks again for your help, hope you get your truck figured out. I would gladly help but i dont know just a whole lot about them. I' m learning a lot as I go.

Hey Tim - As much as I want your business and while certainly a fresh rebuild can only be a good thing from a reliability perspective, recognize that we have a LITANY of customers with over 500k on their original FICM before they ever have a problem. Even then, in nearly all cases the customer is able to point to a battery, alternator, or FICM relay issue that caused the issue. Upshot: if you've got some other things to take care of, I'd suggest doing those before I spent cash on a FICM rebuild.
Of course, if you are just looking to have the reliability improved that is fine and we are happy to help you out! We could even set you up with a tune at the same time to have you fall in love with your 6.0 all over again!

Thank you Ed! You will definitely have my business when that time comes. Ive read nothing but good things about you and your business. Too bad others dont run theirs the same way.
Are there two stand pipes and four dummy plugs? Ive watched tons of videos and read thru as many threads and thats my understanding. I just want to make sure I am understanding it correctly.

Thanks man. Your thoughts are very much appreciated. Integrity is doing the right thing when no one is looking.
Well, I suppose a whole forum of folks COULD be looking, but you get the idea.

Happy to be of service! We carry absolutely everything you can get OEM for your 6.0 and nearly everything else you can get in the aftermarket space - just for less money.
One stand pipe and one dummy plug per head.
So you need a set of two to do both heads.
With all the ins and outs it can be hard to keep track of what is needed.
Also sometimes a part that you think you need will be in a set that you
are already getting.
I think that the Ford Head Gaskets come with a stand pipe but not a dummy plug?
Having an extra with assembling is better than needing one and not having it.
Ed can check that out for you. Especially if your buying from him

After you told me that, I checked your site out. You carry a lot of stuff! ive always bought my parts local out of convenience but considering how much more I'm paying, that'll change.

You got that right. Especially for a guy who doesn't work on these things a lot. Mine has been a good truck and still is a good looking truck. It's just getting old. My wife is trying to talk me in to getting a new one but me thinks I can buy a lot of parts with just a few monthly payments.
