Has anyone used a fcim from ALL COMPUTER RESOURCES. I need one and it seems they have a good price, but don't know about quality.

I would also add Swamps Diesel (Home - Swamps Diesel) to the list. Jonathan and his crew are top shelf.

When we started rebuilding FICM's some five years ago, it was pretty well just Swamps. Now, it seems that there are near 60 different places to go and get your FICM rebuilt. Everyone is jumping on the bandwagon, but everyone's product is not the same.

Some only work on the power board, some only guarantee the power board, some only have at most a limited term warranty, some don't provide software tuning at all or are limited in what they can tune, some just reflow the 'cold' solder joints that are at the crux of the beginnings of the problem, still others (while they replace components instead of 'just' reflowing and praying) only use OEM-grade parts in their work instead of offering better (or even dramatically better!) components as part of what they do. Some offer aftermarket tuning, but aren't authorized by the creator of the tunes to offer the tunes (meaning where will you be later if there is an issue). Some don't test their work. Some that DO test their work, aren't set up with any mechanism of stress-testing their work.

Of course, I know that you are surprised to hear that FICMrepair.com doesn't have any of these limitations.
