OK, so I read on the threads that this was an easy plug and play upgrade. I went to Autozone and made my purchase. I installed the new switch and ground the black wire to the dash. Turned it to intermittent and nothing. Turned to low and nothing. Turned to high and the wipers moved halfway up and the switch was clicking rapidly. Did I get a faulty switch or am I missing something?
No, it was all in the switch that looks like the one without intermittent, with the exception it had a small box below it. I am guessing that is the intermittent part. No where as big as that one.
A delay switch should *not* be able to plug into the truck harness, only into a delay module.
It is the delay module that has a plug that matches the truck harness socket.

Where is a good place to get a delay module. I was unable to locate one from Autozone.
They are stupid expensive from Ford and I don't know of any in the aftermarket.
Best bet is eBay or the junkyard.
Not all trucks have a wiper **** that turns left but every bronco I've found does.
If you pull it yourself try and find a vehicle with automatic because jarring from the parking brake release destroys them, though you can resolder the heatsink inside.
Also, Ford tsb suggests don't mount them on the arm to the parking brake.
Wrap them in foam rubber and zip tie it up behind the fuse panel.
I haven't had to repair mine since I left it off the bracket.

Thanks, I went to Ebay and one is on the way. I am sick of the switch when it is misting.
