1968 F250 Headlight Switch
I bought a new headlight switch and high beam switch and when I turn on the headlights the parking lights in the front go out and I don't know why.? When I pull the switch out one notch the parking lights come on but when I pull the switch all the way out the parking lights in the front go out?

Oh, wait ....that's because I modified it to do that. Never mind.
This can be done on pre-'70 model trucks by simply jumpering out the light switch.
But, would be better if the circuit was run through a relay to reduce some of the electrical load.
