I was out looking for a manual transmission bellhousing for my 56 f100 project and i came across this one. Can anyone ID this bellousing. It is a truck piece as it has the two mounting tabs on it.
The casting number is CTBAG-7505A. It appears to have the wide bolt pattern and is currently bolted to a Yblock.

7505-A is correct, what CTBAG refers to, I haven't a clue. The prefix is composed of 3 digits: letter-number-letter or 4 digits: letter-number-letter-letter.
The wrecking yard that I was in is located in eastern Ontario so just maybe could it be a Canadian part number? I'm looking to do the T5 conversion and am trying to locate the proper bellhousing. Not so easy to do.....
Not sure what this Y block is out of, if its out of a large truck, say a 500 or 600 then I guess it won't be the right one.
thanks

thanks for the help, I guess I'll keep looking. Just a shot in the dark, would anyone out there have a bell housing that they might want to get rid of? Don't really want to go the AOD route. I checked the Bendsten's website but you still need the bell housing. Modern driveline makes the bell housing, could go that route I guess. A bit pricey though but what isn't these days...lol.
