bell housing bolt pattern
Hey guys
I am new to deisels, and I dont know much specifics about the 7.3L.
I want to convert my truck to 7.3L. but will i have to change the bell housing or tranny? is the bolt pattern the same as an FE,FT or a 385 series, or is it different from both big blocks?
By the way it is a big truck. F-750 with a 391FT and a Clark 5-speed.

The pattern is close to a 385, but not close enough. They also use 1/2" bolts instead of 7/16". I don't know about a clark 5 speed. I wonder what different trannies International used with them. Maybe the local dealer would know.
