What does the FORD Owner’s Manual recommend for hot climate (south Texas) motor oil? I have been running a full synthetic oil since the new engine was installed on my 1991 F150, 5.0L engine.
Whatever it says, it is way outdated for SAE classification. I run Mobil Delvac diesel oil in mine because it has more zinc than today's "regular" oils. I live in Austin.
