1985 f600 hydraulic problems

Alright so I'm new to this site so I apologize if I'm in the wrong forum. I have a 1985 ford f600 dump truck. The hydraulic brake system seems to have a pressure sending unit on it right by the firewall and i am trying to figure out if I can replace it with any kind of pressure sending unit or if it relays a certain pressure or if it is a special style sensor. Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.

"Pressure sending unit"? Do you mean the master cylinder? Does your truck have a yellow handle for the parking brake?

Yes but one of the lines just off the fluid reservoir and the master cylinder has an sensor coming into the bottom of the line with as wire feeding off of it

Can you post your vin and all the info off the warranty/data plate on your door? Do you have pictures or is there a brand name on any brake parts?

This could be Lucas Girling brakes. Once we figure that out, we can try to find a parts list and illustration.

Also, this will do better in "large truck"
