Oil Pressure sending unit.

I have a 1991 Ranger with the 2.3L 4 cyl. Does anybody know where the oil pressure sending unit is located? My gauge shows good pressure sometimes and pegged below the orange line at other times. The engine runs good and doesn't make any unusual noises, even when its showing 0 pressure. I'd like to replace the sending unit and see if that solves the problem.

I'm having the same problem. Does anyone know where it's located on a 4.0 engine??

Should be on the drivers side, just in front of the motor mount rigt at the oil pan.
