Wet Gremlins

Good morning, I recently purchased a 1999 F250 SD SC LB. The wife and I went to a movie last night and it rained pretty hard. When we came out to get in the truck my key fob wouldn't work. Didn't think much of it at the time. Drove home about 1 mile or so. When we got home I noticed the radio was still playing after I shut the truck off and removed the key. The passenger air bag light was on also, but very dim. I am guessing that the GEM has gotten wet. Any ideas? Thanks Wayne.

Update

So I started looking around my truck this morning and found the windshield was separating at the lower corner of the passenger side. I contacted a local auto glass shop and had the windshield changed. On the drive over to the shop the transmission was shifting very hard. I also had a CEL. Picked the truck up about an hour ago and was shifting normal on the way home. So it leads me to believe that the GEM did get wet. I put a code reader on and found a 0500 code. The reader said it was a general code for the speed sensor. Hopefully it will dry out by morning. Will update at that time. Also my insurance paid for the replacement.

Those famous windshield leaks also get the fuse box wet. Then it corrodes.
