I would like to know what they should look like. The brackets are broken and pieces are missing. The cab sub frame is sitting on the chassis in the rear. This poor truck was rode hard and put away wet.
I have a combination of the two. The *01714 firewall mounts and the *5634 rear mounts. The ends of the *5369 crosspiece are broken off with chunks missing, and this seems to be an integral part of the cab. I don't see an easy fix for this, and I can't get the truck in the shop right now to lift the cab. Maybe I can somehow just jack it up temporarily.
I'm not sure if this will help or not. It's the only pic of anything structural I have on file. I can always take more of anything specific you need. But this you can save to your computer and blow up to see details under the cab.
Thanks, that's a big help. But the area I most concerned with is the part where the dog bones attach to the crosspiece #5369 in the upper picture. The ends have been torn off and missing on my cab. The dog bones are still attached to the cab but are just dangling in mid air. I'll try to get a pic when I get back to the shop.
Yes yes yes. All those pictures are a big help. This will be an interesting challenge without removing the cab. The links are still attached to the cab, it's that rear crosspiece that has the ends broken off. At least now I know it's not an integral part of the cab. Thanks again.
I'm building a 48 and 51 Coe ( one for each son) that i bought already in pieces so i know what you are going through. I may need some pics from you when the reassembly begins.
