Didn't look for a gearbox on your site but will do. When my gauge goes crazy I get codes for the sending unit either a circuit high or circuit low. Also I'm not sure how to prove the test for batteries. But I did just replace the alternator and both batteries. Also can I still run my custom tunes with the atlas 40?
The gearbox isn't on the site - we just don't sell a ton of them as you can imagine. Drop me an email to ed@ficmrepair.com with your VIN and I'll get you a price.
What codes, specifically, are you getting?
I don't know what you mean by 'proving' the test for batteries? Are you referring to our expectation that our customers ensure the health of their batteries and charging system prior to installing a FICM from us? If so, that's primarily on the honor system, but when low voltage on the supply side is the reason for a module's failure we can nearly always tell. What we tell people just anyway is that while warranty's are great and all, downtime stinks. In other words, it is in everyone's best interest to ensure the continued health of their charging system.
You can absolutely run your custom tunes with the Atlas 40, yes.
What alternator did you go with (please don't tell me the 110 amp unit...)?

Wow. Talk about a thread hijack! LOL
Again sorry about the hijack just trying to make sure my truck is good to go about to get underway with my ship and don't want to leave my wife stranded somewhere
